The Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation in rural Garfield County is a local bear and wildlife rehabilitation center. They primarily support Garfield, Mesa, Pitkin, Eagle, and Rio Blanco counties,but also take in wildlife from all over the state for care and rehabilitation.
